I will take anything over 50 and less than 80....so its been very pleasant the last day or so--now if we could do something about the rain (my arc is nearing completion--need to start getting animals)....talked to my sister yesterday and she was saying it has been a very wet month there as well---close to be a record month for rain and its only the 11th!
overdid it moving stuff yesterday....oy sore today

It rained and stormed yesterday. Supposed to be clear today and 75 which sounds perfect to me.

Between 65 and 75 is perfect, in my opinion. Don't care about it being warm enough to swim because I hate swimming. Just warm enough for me to go out without a jacket and be comfortable, but not so warm that you sweat.

I go out without a jacket at 40 or above ....got that from living in japan.
swimming? uhm, no I dont even think my last suit fits, there is no place here TO swim and it would also mean getting my butt+ length hair wet/dry---so a big negatory on that one.
well that is my comment for today---back to some pain pills and my bed (my overdoing of yesterday strikes ag---continues),.

I love swimming. It is great exercise. Plus we have a pool at our house so it is private. Which is also a plus.
Grr, stupid sore throat... Nothing is helping at all. ><

sorry to hear about the sore throat--those can be annoying as ----
a private pool , must be nice.....though we did have a pool for a few years growing up--above ground and had to be taken down one year and never got up the next.....
I LIKE swimming, I dont like having to dry my hair afterwards...and no cutting my hair is not an option (and bathing caps wont let me put that much hair inside).

Ya it is awesome to have our own private pool. It is in-ground luckily so we can't take it down and not put it back up lol
I like to swim and I don't have to worry about long hair. It's great. But I understand about not wanting to cut your hair.

I used to have my hair long enough to sit on. I cut it off for two reasons - 1) it was just a hassle to deal with and there wasn't much I could do but put it in a ponytail or bun, and 2) people seemed to think that since my hair was pretty, they could play with it, and I hate that (I've got natural red hair). I've currently got it cut short in a pixie-ish cut. I miss long hair, but I'm kinda liking having it this short.

Guys have it easy when it comes to hair. My gf hates it. I can wake up, comb it and be done. She can't. I can get ready in like 5 minutes, takes her a bit longer.

I dont take much time with my hair...it stays in a scrunchie pretty much all the time...when it was short I had to deal with its ...er, uhm...unmanageability....I would fight to get it to do what I wanted-it has its own ideas (still does, but at least the scrunchies keep it more controlled).....it still likes to say HI to everyone I pass within its length of, but at least I have exerted SOME control over it. (and yeah my hair is a copperish color as well--though no one thinks they have the right to touch it without my permission--guess that comes from being an ugly old lady )
I had short hair, it was a pain to deal with...now I take long enough to pull a comb thru it (~1 min) and put the scrunchie back in...and am ready to go!

I dont pick by my dates by their looks (for the most part--)...but by their personalities.
(sorry pwnd....but we got you there!!!)

Some guys can rock the bald look, some can't. Just like some can pull off facial hair and others can't.
Normally I don't like facial hair on guys, but my fiance has a beard and mustache and on him it looks good, without it he looks like a kid

The bald look takes a special talent (head). Not everyone looks good bald. You have to have the right head shape really.
My gf HATES facial hair. So I don't get to have any except when she is gone for the summer.

pwnd, pwnd.. you have been trapped in the hair discussion!
Yes my hubby looks a good 10 years younger without the facial hair (funny story-he got it the summer between his 1st and 2nd year in college, at the beginning of his 2nd year he had to try out for his 'seat' in band {tuba player}..which he had been in his 1st year....the 1st chair trumpet player-who had been 1st chair the previous year as well-comments to him that he should do well--carrying on a conversation not realizing who he was talking to----took us a good 5 minutes to convince him!)
got the adventure of the sparebedrrooom done with...only one stack of boxes decided it wanted to be on my head...I got a good bruise and a (even more than from the previous days adventure) painful shoulder--back to me pain pills and salonpas!

OH NO! Cosy you are right... I must escape!
Well I think it is bedtime for me now. Still have a sore throat which I hope goes away for tomorrow since I kind of am in charge of the other summer workers. Have to teach a guy how to strip a floor tomorrow so I need to be able to speak without pain. Sleep now, up at 5am. Go team.

Your husband is a Tuba player too!?!?!? It'd be cool if he'd hook me up with up some lessons... My Tuba playing is a bit lacking xD Jk jk. (Well not really, actually, Tuba isn't my primary, but if he knows Bass Trombone (my major) well, that'd be SUPER COOL! Does he give lectures/have writings on technique? :O And if he's a professional musician- it'd be cool to hook up!! xD)
About hair- I had a buzz cut every time I went to the Barber until the Sophomore year of my High School. Then I grew it out to my shoulders. I kept it because my girlfriend at the time said I was more attractive with it long, not to mention that I looked like a *cough*really cute Asian girl*cough* from behind with it.
But now since I'm off to the military soon... I will be saying good bye to that long hair and returning to the hairstyle of my pre-adolescent state.
Sleep also sounds good.... I would join you, but I think personally that'd be a little creepy. At any rate, check out this picture of a hairy man (don't look if your under 13; it isn't inappropriate, all parts are covered up by naturally occurring processes):

unfortunately my husband hasnt even looked at a tuba in 20 years--so I doubt lessons from him would do much good (we dont even own one--only a mouth piece ) he did graduate with his music major but....those days are long gone. COMPUTERS are now what takes his time. (and one of his other majors--)
sleep....sounds like a plan---

My dad, being a band director, can play pretty much every instrument. Which is dang impressive... Though he only gives french horn lessons since that is his primary instrument. Same instrument I used to play as well.
Well Monday, which means work and day 4 of my sore throat. I'm thinking I might need to see a doctor about this damn thing...
